- The artist, Josep Ivars Ivars (1918-2008), is considered a master of brushwork. He learned drawing and wood carving at the Ivars Workshop, where he was introduced by his father.
- The painting depicts a beautiful countryside landscape with mountains in the background and some dry trees, along with an olive tree in the foreground. In the middle are what appear to be almond trees in bloom.
- The oil painting is quite colourful, with a variety of bright colours. The details of the oil painting and the use of colour are quite good.
