- By the renowned French medalist and sculptor: Léonard Adolphe Rivet (1855-1925). He was a student of the sculptors Cavelier, Ponscarme, and Roty at the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris. He exhibited at the Salon des Artistes Français and received an honorable mention and a second-class medal.
- On the obverse: The bust of Pallas Athena appears, along with the word: Patria (Fatherland). And the artist's signature at the other end.
- The reverse: It has no inscription; it is blank and ready for engraving. It is surrounded by a laurel and olive wreath.
