- On the obverse, within an oval, is the bust of King Alfonso XIII, facing left in profile, in red and white. At the top, "ESPAÑA" (Spain) is written in white. At the bottom, "CORREOS" (Post Office) and "CÉNTIMOS" (cents) are written in red on a white background within a rectangle, and "25" is written in white on a red background. In the lower right corner, outside the rectangle, is the signature E. VAQUER.
- The postmark is circular. The control numbers are visible on the reverse, though very faintly in blue ink.
- Vertical perforations: 14. Vertical perforations: 13.
- Horizontal perforations: 12. Horizontal perforations: 11.
- Printed on thin, good-quality, very light off-white paper, in a single red tone, with good ink coverage, good printing, and very poor centering.
