- Rectangular jewelry Box, made of brass, inlaid with copper and silver wire, forming geometric drawings, and lined with wood inside, from the First Half of the 20th century. It appears that the bottom of the Box is made of copper foil.
- Both on the cover and on the sides, it has a series of legends in the oriental alphabet, inserted in elementary geometric figures.
- In some small parts, the copper and silver wires have come off.
- It has one of the hinges detached from the cover, since they have never been secured with small bolts, which would be very convenient for the category of the Box.
- The wooden covering of the lid has come off.
- A small cleaning, restoration and subsequent treatment of the wood would be necessary.
- The Box has a beautiful job of careful care, which has given it a nice patina.
- This type of work corresponds to those carried out at the beginning of the 20th century in Damascus (Syria), from where the name Damasquinado comes, recovering the ancient Turkish styles, and following the ancient methods of treating metals. Similar styles have also been developed in Persia and Arabia.
- On the underside of the bottom of the Box, there are some Inscriptions made with a punch, of what appear to be letters of the ancient Turkish alphabet, with a clear Greek influence.
