COMPLETE PLUMB BOB BRONZE. 20TH CENTURY.

Description:
- Complete plumb bob, for construction of the first half of the 20th century, with a solid bronze weight.
- The body of the weight is cylindrical in shape, 12,6 cm. high and 2,8 cm. in diameter, with a screw head.
- The thread is large in size and diameter, with a large thread and pitch.
- Along the body it has several deep turned grooves, achieving a harmonious overall effect.
- Very good and beautiful patina is preserved throughout the Plumb bob. The quality of the bronze casting and the execution of the plumb bob is good.
- The original wooden plumb bob nut is preserved intact despite the many knocks it has suffered from use.
- No distinctive mark or contrast has been found that could provide information about the place where it was made, the maker's details, or any other information.
- The plumb bob was probably made in southern Europe.
Preservation and damage:
- The plumb bob is in a good state of preservation, although the Weight has many, but very minor knocks and scratches.
