- The Book, written in Spanish, is a devotional and ordinary of the Mass of prayers for the morning, between day and night. Exercises for confession and communion, the seven words and forty hours.
- The author is Dr. José Sayol y Echevarría, canon of the Holy Metropolitan and Primate Church of Tarragona.
- The book is profusely illustrated, with eight engravings and a chromolithograph, all of them signed.
- Numerous engravings outside the text, and a chromolithograph at the beginning.

Description of the book:
- Sewn binding of very good execution, with guillotined and gilt cuts, from the Second Half of the 19th Century.
- Text and Illustrations in single-colour black printing, very good ink, with good stamping, well centred and with good margins.
- Book printed on medium thick, good quality paper.
- Metal covers finished with brass edges.
- Embossed front cover and plain back cover.
- The front cover has the anagram 'Ave Maria' in brass.

Conservation and Damage:
- General Condition: Fair
- Sewn binding in good condition.
- The chromolithograph together with the flyleaf and title page are loose.
- All cuts are gilt, and remain in perfect condition.
- Text pages are in good condition, with no tears or stains.
- The binding is complete and works perfectly.
- The book has not suffered from external aggressions such as humidity, insect attacks, rodents, etc.
- The book shows wear and tear typical of it’s age.

Comments:
- Both the Measurements and the Weight are approximate.
- In order to take the photos of the inside pages, they have been held with tweezers.
- Ideal book as a collector's item. Very difficult to find.
- The tones of the colours in the photos are not the same as the tones of the real colours.
- The book for sale is the one that corresponds to the photos.
- The description is not a detailed exposition of the book.
