Description:
- Engraving corresponding to Plate 17 of Civil Constructions, belonging to the Popular Illustrated Encyclopaedia of Sciences and Arts, made by Federico Gillman, and formed according to the Iconographic Encyclopaedia and the Conversations Lexicon of Germany.
- The engraving shows all kinds of plans of houses and the different rooms of houses.
- In the upper margin is the title 'CONSTRUCCIONES CIVILES', and in the upper right-hand corner is printed 'Lam. 17', which identifies it as engraving number 17 in a series on civil constructions.
- In the lower margin are the identifications of the different plans, both of Spanish, English, French, German, etc. houses.
- Intaglio etching on steel, although another technique could also have been used.
- Made in black monochrome tone, very well inked, centred with acceptable margins and with a good stamping.

- The engraving is on medium-thick paper of fair quality.
