- This is ‘The new plan of the Fortifications of Paris and the direction of their fires’, enlarged from those published up to the present day, 1870.
- The plan shows the fortifications in the central part, and all the margins are filled with handwritten notes, probably on subjects related to the Franco-Prussian War of 1870.
- The Franco-Prussian War was a war between 1870 and 1871 between the Second French Empire and the Kingdom of Prussia.
- The following appears in the lower left-hand corner: Lithograph by P. Martí Editor-Valencia C. Mar, 57.
