Description:
- Unused postage stamp, 10 Marks, from Germany, 1923. Violet.
- Obverse has an upside down bird in the centre. In the upper left corner it has a '10', and in the upper right corner it has an 'm'. On the lower side is the legend 'Deutsche flugpoft'.
- The reverse is not clean, as it has the remains of two hinges.
- Vertical indentation:21. Vertical perforations:20.
- Horizontal toothing:15. Horizontal perforations:14.
- No postmark.
- Printed on medium thick paper of good quality, very light off-white, made in Violet monochrome, very good ink, good stamping and a good centring.
- No distinctive, mark or contrast has been located, that could give more information about this Postal Stamp.
Conservation and Damage:
- General Condition: Very Good.
- The stamp has not been washed, preserving the gum. It has stuck on the back of the stamp the rest of two previous hinges.
- The paper is clean and has no rust.
- The teeth are well preserved.
- There are no faults or breaks on the stamp.
- The postage stamp shows the deterioration of its time.
