OIL ON CARDBOARD VALENCIAN HUT. R. GIL. 1966

Description:
- Beautiful oil on cardboard measuring 27.3 cm x 35 cm.
- It has the signature 'R. Gil' next to a date 'Nov. 66' in the lower right corner. Painter we have not been able to locate, probably a Valencian painter from the first half of the 20th century.
- Below the signature there is another date: '8 December'.
- On the back there is also something signed, although we have not been able to decipher it.
- It depicts a Valencian hut, next to a lake or river. The hut is situated on the shore of the lake or river, next to thick vegetation.
- At first glance, no figure appears.
- The line is medium thick, which gives relief to the oil painting.
- The painting is painted in a variety of bright colours and with great ease of line.
Conservation and damage:
- General condition: Good.
- The panel has small tears at the edges due to nails from an old frame.
- There are paint flaws at the edges, due both to the nails and to blows.
- The oil painting has not suffered from external aggressions such as humidity, insect attacks, rodents, etc.
- The object shows wear and tear typical of it's age.

Comments:
- Both the measurements and the weight are approximate.

- Very interesting as a collector's item and decorative element.

- The tones of the colours in the photos are not the same as the tones of the real colours.
