Description:
- Incomplete plumb bob for Construction of the Second Half of the XVIIIth century, 9,4 cm. high, 3,9 cm. diameter and a weight of 298 gr.
- The bronze weight has a threaded head. The body of the weight is cylindrical in shape, with a nipple-shaped tip.
- The shape of the tip is very rare and unique.
- The Weight is hollow and filled with what looks like lime mortar, but we are not sure.
- No distinctive mark or contrast has been found that could provide information about the place where it was made, the maker's details, or any other information.
- The plumb bob was probably made in southern Europe.
Conservation and damage:
- The plumb bob is in a good state of preservation, with many, but very minor knocks and scratches, both on the edges and edges, as well as on the faces.
- Both the quality of the casting and the execution of the Weight are good.
- A spectacular patina is preserved along the entire length of the plumb bob.
