Description:
- Used 15-cent postage stamp from Spain, dated 1922. Greyish blue colour.
- On the obverse, inside a slightly rectangular greyish-blue frame, is a bust of King Alfonso XIII facing forward, in white and greyish-blue, above which appears a royal crown. Around the frame is a border with filigree and floral motifs. At the bottom is ‘ESPAÑA’ in white, inside a greyish-blue space. Above it, ‘CORREOS’ in greyish blue. In each lower corner, “15” and ‘Cs.’ in greyish blue within a shield with a white background. Signed ‘E. VAQUER’ in the lower right margin.
- Illegible circular postmark.
- Vertical perforation: 16. Vertical perforations: 15.
- Horizontal perforation: 13. Horizontal perforations: 12.
- Printed on thin, good quality, off-white paper, in a single greyish blue tone, very good ink, good printing and very regular centring.
- No distinctive markings, stamps or contrasts have been found that could provide further information about this postage stamp.
