Description:
- Germany postage stamp (1).
- Obverse has the Imperial Coat of Arms engraved in the centre, with dry volume, as can be seen in the Reverse detail photo. Around it is the legend 'DEUTSCHE REICHS POST'. Around the perimeter are floral motifs. In the two lower corners is the number 20. On the lower side is engraved 'PFENNIG'.
- The reverse is clean, with the exception of the postmark.
- Vertical toothing:15. Vertical perforations:16.
- Horizontal indentation:13. Horizontal perforations:13.
- Circular postmark. It is read on the left of its perimeter ''COLN'' and on its right 'RHE' in a very diffuse way. The rest is illegible.
- Printed on fine paper of poor quality, very light off-white, made in blue monochrome, good ink, good stamping and very good centring.
- No distinctive, mark or contrast has been found, which could give more information about this Postal Stamp.
Conservation and Damage:
- General condition: Good.
- The stamping of the image is very well centred.
- The stamp has been recently washed and therefore the gum is not preserved.
- The paper is clean and has no rust.
- Teeth badly preserved. Some of the teeth are cut almost flush with the paper.
- The postage stamp shows the deterioration of it's age.
