Description:
- Used 20-cent postage stamp from Spain, dated 1917. Violet in colour.
- On the front, inside a purple striped circle, is the profile bust of King Alfonso XIII looking to the right, in purple, surrounded by the Collar of the Golden Fleece, and above it the royal crown. At the bottom, ‘ESPAÑA’ in white, with a fleur-de-lis on each side. Below, ‘CORREOS’. At the top, ‘20’ and ‘Cs.’ in each corner, inside small white shields. On the sides, leaf watermarks.
- Circular postmark.
- Vertical perforation: 16. Vertical perforations: 15.
- Horizontal perforation: 13. Horizontal perforations: 12.
- Printed on thin, good quality, off-white paper, in a single shade of violet, very good ink, good printing and very good centring.
- No distinctive features, marks or contrasts have been found that could provide further information about this postage stamp.

- The stamp has been recently washed, so it does not retain its gum.
