Description:
- Used postage stamp series featuring King Alfonso XIII, denominated 2, 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 40, and 50 Centimos, from Spain, dated 1930.
- On the obverse, inside an oval, is a three-quarter profile bust of King Alfonso XIII looking to the left, in various colors depending on the value of the stamp. At the top, “ESPAÑA” (Spain) in white. At the bottom, “CORREOS” and “CÉNTIMOS” are printed in color on a white rectangle in each corner, with the value in white in the center. In the lower right corner, outside the rectangle, is the signature E. VAQUER.
- Various postmarks. On the back are the control numbers, in blue ink, except on the 2-cent stamp.
- Vertical perforation: 14. Vertical perforations: 13.
- Horizontal perforation: 12. Horizontal perforations: 11.
- Printed on thin, good quality paper, very light bone white, in single colors, very good ink, good printing, and very poor centering.
- No other distinctive features, marks, or contrasts have been found that could provide further information about these postage stamps.
Conservation and Damage:
- Overall condition: Good. Except for the 30-cent stamp, which has part of the printing outside the paper on the right side of the stamp.
- The stamps have been recently washed, so they do not retain their gum.
- The perforations are missing in some places.
- The postage stamps show deterioration typical of their age.
