Description:
- The book, written in Spanish, is conceived as a working and reference tool, both for professionals or students of history, as well as for anyone else interested in the subject. The content is very well structured and of very high interest.
- The author, Victor W. Von Hagen, an American archaeological explorer and historian, anthropologist and traveller who explored pre-Columbian America.
- The book is profusely illustrated with beautiful photographs, taken by Adolfo Tomeucci.

Description of the book:
- Sewn binding of very good execution, with guillotined cuts, from the Second Half of the 20th Century.
- Full colour printing, very good ink, with good centred stamping and good margins.
- Book printed on white paper, of high thickness and good quality.
- Smooth light green publisher's full cloth hard covers, and smooth publisher's full cloth spine, good quality. Minor scuffing to edges.
- The spine is stamped in gilt 'V.W.v.Hagen. The roads leading to Rome'.
- Editorial paper dust jacket, glossy finish on the outside, printed in full colour.
- Printed flyleaves, thick paper.

Conservation and Damage:
- General Condition: Good.
- Sewn binding in very good condition.
- Cuts very well preserved, with minimal soiling and minimal rubbing.
- The pages are in good condition, with no tears or stains. The pages are slightly darkened at the edges due to age.
- The tips are slightly deteriorated with light creases and folds.
- The book has not suffered from external aggressions such as humidity, insect attacks, rodents, etc.
- The dust jacket is in poor condition with tears to the spine, general deterioration to the edges, and soiling.
- The book shows wear and tear typical of its age.

Comments:
- In order to take the photos of the Interior Pages, these have been held with tweezers.
- Measurements and weight are approximate.
- Very interesting as a collector's item and as a decorative element.
- The tones of the colours of the photos are not the same as the tones of the real colours.
