Description:
Spectacular Indo Persian Bronze Vase. We place it in a very wide geographical area, with approximate center in the present Pakistan. We think that this one is located more in the east of the present Iran, old Persia. We have come to the conclusion that it is made in 6 pieces. The belly, the outer ring of the foot, the foot, the lower neck, the upper neck and the neck ring. The lower neck and upper neck are joined by the ring. Apparently the parts are joined by welding by heating and riveting. The Vase is chiselled in those parts in which, when unmolding or welding, have been left with burrs and flaws. It has a general silver bath, and an external copper bath in horizontal bands and vertical segments. This vase has a fantastic patina, so that together with its characteristics, can be located in the first half of the nineteenth. The Vase has had to undergo a detailed cleaning, in order to recover all its characteristics. This type of vases has been elaborated from ancient times to the present, and with the most diverse materials, giving them different possible uses. It is a very interesting piece and rare to find.
