Description:
- Medal of the Empress Eugenia de Montijo, bronze reproduction of the Year 1968, based on the Medal made in 1870.
- On the Obverse you can read the legend Eugenie Imperatrice. A. Bovy. 1870.
- On the Reverse, it has a border of flowers, starting from a bow. The center of the border is smooth, and does not have any inscription.
- In the song you can see Three Contrasts. One "Punch with an unidentifiable Badge", Two the word "BRONZE" and Three the Year "1968".
- Jean Francois Antoine Bovy (1795 - 1877) was born in Geneva, and became French national. He was an important engraver, and he invented a mechanism to make medals by means of a stamping that allowed large print runs.
- The Medal is manufactured with great quality and preserving the characteristics of the original Medal.
- Both sides of this Medal are very well preserved, with minimal wear, and presenting a beautiful patina, the product of its more than 50 years of life.

- Both the Measurements and the Weight are approximate.

- Very interesting as a collector"s item.
