Description:
- Incomplete instrumental plumb bob from the second half of the 20th century, with a solid nickel plated iron weight and without conserving the nut.
- The body of the weight is cone-shaped, 5.5 cm. long, 3,2 cm. in diameter and 102 gr. in weight, with a threaded head.
- Thread of medium size and diameter, with small thread and medium pitch.
- Head with flat brass thread.
- We think that the plumb bob is nickel plated, although it could be chrome plated.
- No distinctive mark or contrast has been found, which could provide information about the place where it was made, the manufacturer"s details, or any other information.
- The plumb bob was probably made in southern Europe.

Conservation and Damage:
- The plumb bob is in a good state of preservation, although the Weight has several small knocks and scratches, all of which correspond to the careful use of the plumb bob.
- The plumb bob retains a very good and beautiful patina. The quality of the iron casting and the execution of the plumb bob is very good.
- The Plumb bob shows wear typical of it's age.
