Description:
Quality: Good quality glued binding.
Thick paper of good quality.

Description of contents:
- The book, written in Spanish, is profusely illustrated with multiple engravings.
- The book, dating from 1864, is a costumbrista work in which several important writers of the time participated in its production.
- Decorated with a hundred plates. The title pages are missing.
Parts of the contents:
- Single volume. Spanish copy, with the complete text.
- Flyleaves. Foreword. Contents. Flyleaves.
- The plates are all inserted in the text.
Description of the book:
- Good execution glued binding, with guillotined cuts, from the First Half of the 19th Century.
- Text and Illustrations in single colour printing in black, very good ink, well centred and with good margins.
- Book printed on lightly boned paper, of medium thickness and good quality.
- Hard covers of full Spanish paste, and spine with title and date in gilt.
- Plain white flyleaves, medium thick paper.

Conservation and Damage:
- General Condition: Fair.
- Glued binding in very good condition.
- Cuts very well preserved and with minimal soiling.
- The pages are in good condition, with no tears or large stains. In some places there are annotations in pencil, signs or underlining. The pages are darkened at the edges due to age.
- The first and last pages have writing in ink which has deteriorated part of the text. It lacks dust jackets.
- The book has damage to the pages, both at the edges and in the central parts, with rubbing, light creases and folds, soiling, stains, rust marks and dampness. It has varied underlining on various pages.
- The book shows wear and tear typical of it

- Both the Measurements, as well as the Weight, are approximate.
- Very interesting as a collector- The tones of the colours in the photos are not the same as the tones of the real colours.
