Description:
- Construction plumb bob from the first half of the 18th century, with a solid bronze weight, and without preserving the nut.
- The body of the weight is in the form of a double sphere, 6,9 cm. in height and 4,5 cm. in diameter, with an integrated head.
- The Pesa is perforated vertically to allow the Cordura to pass through.
- Due to its characteristics it could be earlier, but we are more inclined towards the first half of the 18th century.
- It is a very rare and uncommon plumb bob.
- The bronze has a very good composition, retaining a natural lustre.
- No distinctive mark or contrast has been found, which could provide information about the place where it was made, the maker"s details, or any other information.
- The plumb bob was probably made in southern Europe.
Preservation and damage:
- The plumb bob is in a good state of preservation, although the weight has many, but very minor knocks and scratches.
- The quality of the bronze casting and the execution of the plumb bob is very good.
- The Plumb bob shows wear typical of it"s age.

Comments:
- Both the measurements and the weight are approximate.
