Description:
- Brass spice container inlaid with copper and silver wire, from the First Half of the 20th century. These types of small containers were also used for salves and salves.
- The threads form geometric drawings, forming four panels, of which two of them contain oriental letters.
- In some small parts, the copper and silver wires have come off.
- The Container is made up of two parts. The side and the base. The side is a single piece, which is attached to the base by a tongue and groove around its perimeter.
- This type of work corresponds to those carried out at the beginning of the 20th century in Damascus (Syria), from where the name Damasquinado comes, recovering the ancient Turkish styles, and following the ancient methods of treating metals. Similar styles have also been developed in Persia and Arabia.
