Description:
- Trio of the wise monkeys, made from a mixture of white metals with a base.
- This is a large sculpture of the famous three wise monkeys or three mystic monkeys.
- Of Japanese origin, they signify not seeing, not hearing and not speaking.
- They are signed on the base: Lery, Lero, Leny, Leno, although we have not been able to authenticate the signature.
- The tails of the monkeys can be seen on the back.
- They have a good workmanship, made in detail.
- They have a support base, attached to the sculpture. They are hollow.
- Probably made by casting with a mould.
