Description:
Nice brass plate of an Old Nude. It is made by electroplating by electric and silver deposition. Two engravings by Doré are added, showing the same image as on the plate. The silver on the front is quite worn, while the reverse stays much better. Signed by R. Verdú in 1910, and dedicated to Luis Parra. It was signed, dated and dedicated with chisel. The quality of the execution is very high, based on a magnificent work of a sculptor of great stature. The data provided here are unconfirmed personal opinions.

Comments:
The above measurements belong to the Plate.
Measures Plate with hook:
Height: 15.4 cm
Width: 11.5 cm
Bottom: 1.8 cm
Although electroplating was a widely used method since the mid-nineteenth century, and many pieces were made, very few are conserved compared to those executed.
