Description:
Beautiful handmade sundial, tabletop, with the particularity of being able to fold and save occupying little place. Its structure follows the guidelines of the portable 18th century sundials. It is thought as a decorative element, although it respects the technical characteristics. It has recorded the latitudes of 14 locations, so you can adjust the clock to the geographical location in which it is. The mark 'Las Casillas' is engraved. It is probably made by a Spanish craftsman. It is complete and very well preserved, It has to adjust the bolt that holds the Gnomon. It is a very rare piece to find, and very interesting as a piece of collection. They exhibit the wear and tear of their time, as well as some blemishes. They have minor flaws. The data provided here are unconfirmed personal opinions.
