Description:
- Beautiful pair of miniature brass candlesticks.
- The two candlesticks are identical, Art Deco style.
- Of a very small size, they are made in two pieces, the base and the mouth of the candlestick.
- The upper part of the candlestick shows the mould joint, while the lower part has no remains of the joint, so it has a better execution.
- The two pieces are joined together, tongue and groove, by means of a bolt that penetrates the base.
- They are period originals, from around the 1940s.
- No distinctive mark or contrast has been found that could provide information on where it was made, the maker's details, or any other information.
Conservation and damage:
- The candlesticks are in a perfect state of preservation.
- They have small, almost imperceptible casting flaws on the sides and base.
- They need a little cleaning.
- They show wear and tear typical of their age.
