Description:
- Round, stamped porcelain vessel.
- It is quite deep, with the upper rim decorated with black and gold flecks. It may be gold leaf.
- The outer base has a beautiful relief border.
- Bordering the vessel is an intaglio, with what appears to be a mythological scene. It bears the signature of Kaufmann.
- Angelica Kaufmann (1741-1807) was a Swiss painter of the Central European Neoclassical period who was a prolific portrait painter. She was one of the founders of the Royal Academy of Arts in London.
- The decal is probably a copy of one of this great painter's works.
- On its base is the stamp of the BE porcelain factory. We do not know which one it refers to.
- The fact that the object has a distinctive mark or contrast is of great importance in order to be able to identify data such as its author, the place where it was made and other details.
Conservation and damage:
- The vessel is in perfect condition.
- It is intact, with no hairs, cracks or flaking.
- The decorative gilt and black upper part shows wear.
- The Object shows wear typical of it's age.

Comments:
