Description:
- Trio of the wise monkeys, made of bronze and triangular in shape.
- This is a medium-large sculpture of the famous three wise monkeys or three mystic monkeys.
- Of Japanese origin, they signify not seeing, not hearing and not speaking.
- They have a peculiarity, and that is that they are sitting in the shape of a triangle, with their backs close together, which is very rare.
- The monkeys each have a hole in the base, probably for casting.
- They are very well made, and are made with great attention to detail. Chiselled all over the body, imitating the fur.
- They have no support base. The tails appear on the side of each of them.
- Probably made by casting with a mould.
- No distinctive mark or contrast has been found that could provide information on the place where it was made, the maker's details or any other information.

Conservation and Damage:
- The sculpture is in a good state of conservation.
- It retains a nice period patina.
- It has small knocks and scratches, due to time and use.
