LARGE ENAMELLED CHINESE VASE. PINK FAMILY. SEAL.

Description:
- Chinese porcelain vase. Hand painted and glazed.
- Beautiful big size vase, Chinese origin, with a beautiful and elegant design. Seal on the base.
- The vase depicts a scene in which several seated men are playing a board game in the shade of rocks with reeds. Next to them are other figures with children.
- The scene is framed by a line of ‘ruyi’ on a turquoise background and a line of flowers and branches on a pink background at the top. In the lower area, a line of ‘ruyi’ on a pink background. At the base there is a pink border with fretwork. The entire mouth of the vase is painted with a yellow background and pink floral decoration.
- In the centre of the vase, on the other side of the characters, are Chinese letters. We do not know their meaning.
- The execution is very good, and the workmanship is of high quality.

Conservation and Damage:
- The vase is in a perfect state of preservation.
- It retains a spectacular period patina.
