Description:
Beautiful portable compass box. This is a nice compass box that is almost complete. It contains: a line drawing compass, a precision compass, a point compass, a proportions compass and a compass with various accessories. It also has a pencil, a protractor, and spare parts. As can be seen in the photographs, the box is missing an accessory that we do not know what it is. It is made of leather. It is a rare piece, as it is rare to find such complete portable boxes. The steel is moderately oxidised. The information given here are personal opinions, not contrasted.

Comments:
This type of drawing instrument became popular in the second half of the 19th century. These boxes are difficult to find complete. The data given here are personal opinions, not contrasted.
