Description:
Beautiful Paterna Pottery Jar. Glazed earthenware with metallic reflections and beige background. The drawing retains Hispano-Arab reminiscences. It is reported that this model was in a catalog of a factory in Paterna, which began its activity in the early nineteenth century, and ceased its activity over the twenties. It has the marks of support for its cooking only in the interior, indicating that few specimens were produced, and probably only commissioned. Very rare piece, of which not one has been found equal. Since it is thought that the factory would repeat this model by order, logically there must be equal parts, even if they are very scarce. It presents the own attrition of its time, as well as some stains. The data provided here are unconfirmed personal opinions.
