Description:
Precious resin elephant or plastic. It is realized in several pieces, with a resin or black plastic, by casting in mold. In the left rear leg, a small part of the coating sheet has been lost, leaving a joint visible. Based on this, we estimate that quite possibly all the legs and the trunk are independent pieces. The black core is covered by a very thin sheet, probably copper and very thin, which we estimate in approximately 2 tenths of a millimeter. This veneer coating, joins all the pieces of which the elephant is composed. The plate has a first brass bath, and a second silver bath. These baths are very worn, letting themselves see the silver tone, gold and copper. It has not been cleaned, as we consider it has a very interesting patina, giving it a very attractive appearance. He does not have fangs. It would be easy to get them, buying an African wood elephant, currently made, and having a few properly sized bone tusks.

Comments:
Because the differences in tonalities between photos and reality are inevitable, it must be borne in mind that the color tones of the photos are not exactly the same as the tones of the actual colors. It presents the own attrition of its time, as well as some stains. It has small damages. The data provided here are unconfirmed personal opinions.
