Description:
- Candlestick with a pair of monkeys, made of bronze.
- This is a medium-large sized sculpture of a pair of monkeys holding a small candlestick.
- The two monkeys are seated side by side. One of them holds the small candlestick with the hand that embraces his partner.
- They have good workmanship, maintaining detail.
- It can be seen on the back that the figure is hollow. It has no support base.
- Probably made by casting with a mould. The candlestick unscrews for ease of use.
- No distinctive mark or contrast has been found that could provide information on where it was made, the maker's details, or any other information.

Conservation and Damage:
- The sculpture is in a very good state of conservation.
- It retains a nice period patina.
- It has small knocks and scratches, due to age.
- The candlestick does not look as if it has ever been used.
- The Object shows the wear and tear typical of it's age.
