Description:
- Bronze sculpture of a scribe in period costume.
- The scribe is half kneeling, leaning on one of his knees to be able to write.
- He is dressed in the period costume that scribes probably wore.
- In this case, the scribe is drawing what looks like a plant or gift.
- Solid bronze, and with a base that appears to be made of bone.
- The sculpture is superbly crafted, executed in great detail and with good proportions.
- No distinctive mark or contrast has been found that could provide information about the place where it was made, the maker's details, or any other information.

Conservation and Damage:
- The sculpture is in a perfect state of conservation.
- It retains a spectacular period patina.
- It shows the wear and tear typical of it's time.
