Description:
- Colour plate of Liberty leading the people, based on a painting by Delacroix in 1830.
- The plate depicts a woman raising the new French flag, which indicated liberty, equality and fraternity. The painting represents the national symbol of France, leading the revolutionaries in the revolution of 1830.
- The plate is based on an oil painting by Eugéne Delacroix (1798-1863), a French painter and lithographer.
- The print is glued only on the upper side to a cardboard, which has a beautiful gilt border surrounding the print.
- The plate is raised and has writing in German. And in the lower area is the description of the plate, and the place where the original painting is located, which is in the Louvre Museum in Paris.
- The printing is good. In colour.

Conservation and Damage:
- General condition Good.
- The edges are in good condition.
- Shows wear and tear typical of it’s age.

Comments:
- Measurements are approximate.
- The tones of the colours in the photos are not the same as the tones of the real colours.
