Description:
Beautiful container from the Middle East (Western Asia). We think that it could be from the zone of Afghanistan, Iran, Iraq, Syria, Turkey, Arabia and even Egypt. Truncated cone shape and curved in its lower part.
Copper bowl, chiselled, with a silver bath, which has been losing over the years. It is popular crafts. It has two strips of writing, and two flowery strips separated by rounds that contain a central flower, and a floral ornament. It has two borders, one upper and one lower, with diamonds. It is of a normal size, and is chiselled by hand all over the outside. One piece, which makes it more curious. It has floral motifs, and writing between Thuluth and Kufic. This type of bowls, with this type of script, were already made before the 9th century and up to the present.
