- On the obverse, within a circle, the Allegory of Justice, surrounded by the legends 'COMUNICACIONES 10 C. D. PESETA. 1874'. Below the circle, there is a band with the legend '10 ESPAÑA 10'. All surrounded by watermarks.
- Straight postmark, not legible.
- On the reverse, the postmark shows through.
- Vertical perforation: 17. Vertical perforations: 16.
- Horizontal perforation: 15. Horizontal perforations: 14.
- Printed on good-quality, medium-thickness, very light off-white paper in a single-color Navy Blue tone, with excellent ink, good embossing, and good centering.
