Description:
- Used postage stamp, 20 Ore, from Denmark, year 1885. Blue colour.
- On the obverse it has, in blue, the number 20, on the sides of the National Coat of Arms. It is framed by a border with the inscriptions ‘DANMARK’ and 'POSTFRIM. 10 ORE'. In each corner is the number 20 within a small circle. It is surrounded by a green watermark.
- On the reverse the postmark is visible.
- Vertical toothing:15. Vertical perforations:14.
- Horizontal indentation:13. Horizontal perforations:12.
- Circular postmark with date not legible.
- Printed on medium thick paper of good quality, very light off-white, made in blue monochrome, very good ink, good stamping and good centring.
- No distinctive, mark or contrast has been found, which could give more information about this Postal Stamp.
Conservation and Damage:
- General condition: Good.
- The stamp has been recently washed, so the gum is not preserved.
- Teeth very acceptable.
- There are no faults or breaks on the stamp.
- The postage stamp shows the deterioration of it's time.
