Description:
Beautiful fixed length rule, so it is not graduated with a scale. It has reinforced the four edges through the incrustation of a brass rod.
Probably its length responds to a measure that has not been used and that has been used in a specific geographical area. The ruler measures a total of 305 mm, including the pyramidal trunk ends of the ends, without which its measurement is 302 mm. We have not been able to specify to what kind of measurements the 302 mm can correspond. or the 305 mm. long that has the rule. This type of rule, for fixed length measurements, has been used from remote times to the present and with the most diverse materials, although they were usually made of wood.
The rule that concerns us, has numerous black ink spots, so it must have been used at some point to perform tasks with the presence of ink. One of these possibilities is that it was used to align printing types. The ruler is slightly arched or warped with respect to one of its sides. This type of rule is scarce in the market.

Comments:
Because the differences in tonalities between photos and reality are inevitable, keep in mind that the color tones of the photos are not exactly the same as the tones of the actual colors. The piece presents the wear and tear of its time, as well as some stains. It has small flaws. The information provided here are personal opinions not contrasted.
