- The book, written in the four languages Spanish, English, French and Catalan, is conceived as a working tool on the painter Maria Helena Vieira da Silva.
- Maria Helena Vieira da Silva was a painter, born in Portugal in 1908 and died in France in 1992. She studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Lisbon. She traveled to Paris and Italy. She was influenced by "Geometrical Abstraction" through other artists with whom she had a relationship.
- The book contains a first part that describes and develops a deep commentary on the life and painting style of Maria Helena Vieira da Silva.
- In the second part, written in Spanish and French, the biography of the painter is developed.
- In a third part, it contains 70 illustrations of Maria Helena Vieira da Silva"s work, both in black and white and in colour.

- The book shows the wear and tear of its time, as well as some stains. It has some small flaws.
