- Brown leather hard covers, very good execution, printed in gilt, with decorations and the title "Los Animales en el Quijote".
- Spine printed in gilt, very good execution, with ornaments and the titles "Los Animales en el Quijote" and "Microliber".
- Flyleaves with medium thick paper, printed in blue, with watermarks and the portraits of Cervantes and Don Quixote.
- Text on thick, thick, very good quality, bone white paper.
- Laminates with off-white paper, of medium thickness and very good quality.

Conservation and damage:
