Description:
- Glazed earthenware bowl with blue floral details.
- Probably made in Talavera de la Reina. Spanish municipality belonging to the province of Toledo.
- The Escudilla is a hollow spherical bowl with a rounded lip.
- The lip is not perfectly circular, and its horizontality is not precise either, with irregular dimensions.
- It is handmade, with the three marks on the concave inner side of the three-legged firing support, while on the convex outer side the three support points have not been detected.
- It is glazed in light beige, with decorations on the concave inner side in blue, and the convex outer side is plain and unadorned.
- From the characteristics of the ceramic, we believe that it is at least from the second half of the 18th century, with the possibility that it may be from an earlier period.
