- The book, written in Spanish and Portuguese, is conceived as a work and consultation tool, both for professionals or students of architecture, as well as for anyone else interested in the subject of architecture and construction. The content is very well structured and of great interest.
- Hugo Alvar Henrik Aalto was a Finnish architect and designer. He was part of the Modern Movement and participated in the CIAM. He was the only architect of the second generation of the Modern Movement to be recognised as a 'master', thus equalling the great masters of the heroic period of the Modern Movement.

- Sewn binding of good execution, with guillotined cuts, without beards, from the Second Half of the 20th Century.
- Text and Illustrations in single-colour black printing, very good ink, with good stamping, well centred and with good margins.
- Book printed on lightly boned paper, of medium thickness and good quality.
- Soft card covers and spine, with full red editorial cloth, of good quality.
- Cover is stamped with the author's name, the name of the book and one of the buildings designed by the author (Alvar Aalto GG - Estudio Paperback). No dust jacket.
- Stamped on spine: author's name.
- The back cover is stamped with a small description of the book.

Conservation and Damage:
- General Condition: Good.
- Sewn binding in good condition.
- Text pages are in good condition, with no tears or stains.
- The spine is discoloured, with rubbing and creases.
- The book has not suffered external aggressions such as humidity, insect attacks, rodents, etc.
- The covers and the cuts are well preserved and with little soiling.
- The book shows wear typical of it’s age.
