Description:
- Oil on canvas glued to a board. It is a small fragment of Velázquez's Hilanderas.
- It is not signed, but its workmanship is good.
- It is a small fragment painted vertically, which copies a part of the famous painting of the Spinners or The Fable of Arachne by the great painter Diego Velázquez. It is probably a follower of Velázquez.
- The spinner on the left, who appears behind a red curtain, is half crouched, talking to another spinner.
- The artistic quality and execution are good. We can say that it is a sketch, with a medium line.
- The painting is done in a variety of colours.
- It has been nicely framed to enhance the work, and it has been thoroughly cleaned.
- No distinctive mark or contrast has been found that could provide information about the place where it was made, the maker's details, or any other information.
