- Photoengraving is the production of relief prints by transferring photographic images onto a plate for printing in such a way that light or dark areas become susceptible to engraving. It is normally applied to metal, but can also be used on glass, plastic or other materials.
- The plate is worked to the highest quality, and is based on an engraving by Albrecht Dürer, The Adoration of the Lamb.
- Its conservation is magnificent, having been used only a few times,
- It represents the adoration of the lamb by Dürer. It has Dürer's signature in the lower central part.

Conservation and Damage:
- The plate is in very good condition.
- It is smooth and has no relief.
- The object shows the wear and tear typical of it's age.
