Description:
- Earthenware bowl, made in Biar, probably in the first half of the 20th century.
- The small bowl has the factory signature on the base: 'Maestre S.C.'.
- Cerámica artística Maestre, a company dedicated to traditional ceramics for more than 150 years, in the town of Biar in the province of Alicante. Handmade pieces, unique and original, limited production. They are still active.
- The bowl is glazed, and has a beautiful hand painted decoration, which surrounds the bowl.
- The fact that an object has a distinctive mark or contrast is a very rare detail and of great importance for the interest of the piece.
Conservation and damage:
- It is in a very good state of preservation.
- There are no hairs or cracks. There is some minor rubbing on the edges.
- The object shows wear and tear typical of it's age.
