Description:
Rectangular carpet with Hamadan design, from the zone to the west of Persia, with high density of knots, colored wool with natural dyes and hand knotted. The Hamadan design has its origins in Persia, based on geometric shapes, with a central zone of twin polygons and topped with a perimetral border. This type of rugs follow patterns inspired by the oldest traditions of oriental design and manufacture, obtaining a result of great resistance and durability. The background is orange, with square medallions of brown and beige colors in the central rectangle. The border of its perimeter has three stripes. In the center, garnet, beige and black colors predominate, with a series of small flowers separated by lighter lines. On the laterals yellow predominates, on which there are geometric figures that go from black to red. The overall result is very pleasant and attractive, achieving great beauty and balance. The state of conservation is very good, with a minimum age and being practically unused.
The measurements are approximate. Very interesting as a decorative and comfort element. It could be spectacular on a wall as a tapestry, giving a touch of color.
