Instrument plum bob with base and without nut.

Description:
- Incomplete instrumental plumb bob from the second half of the 20th century, with an iron weight and without preserving the nut.
- The body of the weight is cylindrical and conical, 10.8 cm. high, 2.5 cm. in diameter and 944 gr. in total weight.
- The weight is semi-solid, made of iron, with double-striped horizontal bands.
- It has a support with a square base into which the weight can be inserted with the vertex facing upwards or downwards.
- The iron weight has a threaded head.
- It has a very good and beautiful patina throughout the Plumb bob. Both the casting and the execution of the Plumb bob are of great quality and are made on a lathe.
- No distinctive, mark or contrast has been found, which could provide data of the place where it was manufactured, data of the manufacturer, as well as other data.
- The Plumb bob is probably made in Southern Europe.

Conservation and Damage:
- The Plumb bob is in a very good state of conservation, having very small blows and rubbing, since it has hardly been used.
- The foundry of the Plumb bob has no imperfections.

Comments:
- Both the measurements and the weight are approximate.
- Very interesting as a collector- Because it is inevitable the differences of tonalities between photos and reality, it must be kept in mind that the tones of the colours in the photos are not exactly the same as the tones of the real colours.
