Description:
- Instrumental plumb bob from the second half of the 20th century, without nut. Bronze weight, iron tip and threaded head.
- Thread of small size and diameter, with small thread and pitch.
- The weight is pear-shaped, 10.2 cm high, 3.8 cm in diameter and weighs 212 gr.
- It is inscribed with the number "4", which corresponds to the size of the weight and "T.J.W. COWLEY", which corresponds to the size of the weight. COWLEY" which corresponds to the mark or initials of the owner.
- On the head there is an inscription which is not clearly visible, but could be "EDWD RESION&SONS". We do not recognise the mark, but it is probably the same that appears on the body of the plumb bob, an English mark.
- The body of the weight is made of bronze with an iron tip.
- The plumb bob was probably made in Southern Europe.
Preservation and damage:
- The plumb bob is in a very good state of preservation, with some knocks and rubbing, both on the edges and on the edges.
- A very good and beautiful patina has been preserved throughout the plumb bob. The quality of execution of the plumb bob is good.
- The plumb bob shows the wear and tear of it"s age.

Comments:
- Both the Measurements, as well as the Weight, are approximate.
- Very interesting as a collector- The tones of the colours in the photos are not equal to the tones of the real colours.
- The object for sale is the one that corresponds to the photos. The description is not a detailed exposition of the object.
- The data provided here are personal opinions not contrasted.
