Description:
- Medal of Saint Andrew. Andresian College.
- On the obverse side: St. Andrew holding the cross, surrounded by a nice floral border.
- On the reverse: "VALENTI. SCHO. PIAR COLLEGIUM ANDRESIANUM". "To love the school of the Andresian College". In the centre of the medal the letters AM, (Ave Maria) and MPOY.
- Edge: Plain without any inscription.
- The Pious Schools of Valencia were founded in 1735, under the patronage of the Archbishop of Valencia, D. Andrés Mayoral Alonso de Mella, and of D. Felipe Lino de Castelví y Ximenez de Urrea, IV Count of Carlet.
- By Royal Decree of Charles III dated 7th May 1760, the Pious Schools were authorised to create the Piarist Seminary of Nobles, and in 1763 it began to function as such a Seminary; it was catalogued as one of the best teaching centres of the time. Due to the decisive role played by D. Andrés Mayoral in its foundation, it took the name of Colegio Andresiano.

- The medal, taken as a whole, is in a good state of preservation.
- It has a beautiful period patina. It has several minor knocks and scratches.
- Both the Obverse and Reverse of the Medal show low and even wear.

- Both the Measurements, as well as the Weight, are approximate.
- Very interesting as a collector's item and as a decorative element.
